Covid-19 Arrangement

We have all experienced the changes over the past year and hope to settle your child as safely as possible.

We continue to follow the government’s guidelines and have amended the school setting accordingly. It’s an unusual and challenging time at the moment, and we know you and your child might be feeling worried about the transition into reception this September. We want to reassure you that we have taken every precaution to keep children safe. Have a look at our website for more information on our Covid-19 response here:

Your Child is required to wear school uniform.

It has been a difficult year for most families and Princess May would like to support our new Reception children by them a free school uniform. Once you have completed the admission form, we will send you a free uniform voucher worth £30 to purchase your child's uniform from Rough Cut Casuals, our uniform supplier.

Special dietary needs

Does your child have any special dietary needs?

If NO, then you don’t need to do anything else.

If YES, then please read this letter and fill in the Medical Diet Request Form below and return form to the school office.

Princess May is a NUT FREE SCHOOL. Food allergies, intolerances and other dietary-related medical conditions are a growing concern for all schools and children who are affected can suffer a severe or even fatal reaction if they eat or come into contact with food they’re allergic to.

Chartwells, our catering partner has a robust medical diet policy and staff training programme that ensures their teams operate to a strict safety standard. Chartwells have a dedicated medical diet team of nutritionists who are available all year round and happy to support with any questions or queries you may have. You can contact them at

So please make sure you fill in the 'Medical Diet Form' below and email the form to Please contact us if you require a hardcopy.

Once we get this information, we’ll share it with our catering partner Chartwells, so they can make sure your child gets alternative meals that are safe for them.

If your child’s condition changes after you send us the form, it is your responsibility to tell the school immediately.  Please note that any changes to the menu for your child will take up to 5 working days to be implemented.
